How a project runs

Four steps. You see a working draft before you approve anything.

  1. Call

A 20-minute call to scope the site. If we go ahead, I send one onboarding form for bios, services, photos, logo and who manages your domain.

  2. Draft

I build the first version and send you a private preview link to click through on your phone and desktop.

About a week after your content is in
  3. Revise

You send edits, I make them. Two rounds are included. Anything beyond that, I quote before I start.

  4. Launch

I point your domain at the new site, set up SSL, and leave your email records alone so nothing breaks.

Pricing

Two flat build prices, plus a care plan you can opt out of. You know the full cost before we start.

Full firm site

$5,000

For firms with published fees, several services or a referral network to explain.

  • Everything in the one-page site
  • Fee schedules or service menus
  • Extra sections, such as a referral program, client resources or recruiting
  • Three revision rounds

Care plan

$79/mo

Or $790 a year. A simple monthly traffic report, and for law firms, dated copies of the site at launch, after big changes and every 90 days, for the records advertising rules require, such as New York's. Included by default, and you can opt out.

Your domain and any photography are paid by the firm directly, so you own them outright.

Who you'll work with

I'm Fitz Maro, Head of the Americas, Design Technology at Amazon. I've been building websites since I was a kid, and I still do.

I take on a few firm sites at a time, so you deal with me directly from the first call to launch. No account managers, no handoffs.

Questions firms ask

Do I have to move my domain or email?

No. Your domain stays with your registrar. I add two DNS records to point it at the site and never touch the records that run your email.

For law firms, who handles attorney-advertising rules?

I build in New York's standard disclaimers and flag anything that may need a closer look, like awards, results or photos. The final call on compliance stays with you as the attorney.

Do you work with firms outside law?

Yes. Accounting, tax and wealth advisory practices need much the same site as a law firm: what you do, who does it, and an easy way to get in touch. The process and pricing are the same.

What isn't included?

The price covers the website itself: design, build, launch and, for law firms, the site copies the advertising rules require. Ongoing content writing and other services aren't included, so you only pay for the site.

How do inquiries from the site reach us?

The contact form emails each inquiry straight to the inbox you choose. There's no extra system for you to log into or for me to maintain.

Do you write the copy?

I organize and edit what you send so it reads well on a phone. I won't invent credentials, numbers or case results.

Where is the site hosted?

On Netlify, a fast static host with free SSL. Hosting is included in the price, with no monthly hosting fee, and there's no WordPress or plugins to keep updated.

What happens after launch?

The site is yours, and hosting stays included. The care plan adds a monthly traffic report and the site copies advertising rules require. Content changes after launch are quoted before I start.

Start a project

A few quick questions so I know who you are. It takes about a minute.

  1. I reply within 1-2 business days to set up a short call.
  2. A 20-minute call to scope the site, then a fixed quote in writing.
  3. If we go ahead, one onboarding form collects everything else.

Every field is required unless it says optional.

One line is plenty, like a deadline. Please leave out confidential client details.
